Michael D. Shope
Michael is Title Group of Tennessee’s In-House Attorney. He is a Knoxville native, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and earned his J.D. at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law. Michael joined the Title Group in 2017 after spending several years as In-House Counsel and Chief Financial Officer for a real estate development firm in East Tennessee.
Katie joined Title Group of Tennessee in February of 2016. She has her A.A.S in Paralegal Studies and is pursuing a B.A in Business. She was introduced to Title Group of Tennessee by her Realtor who assisted her and her husband during the purchase of their new home. She is a proud mom of her daughter, Sophie, and two fur babies. In her free time, Katie enjoys traveling, attending concerts, working on home improvement projects, and relaxing on lazy weekends.
Kati was born and raised in Sylvania, Ohio. Kati graduated from Denison University with a B.A. in Creative Writing/English. Kati moved to Knoxville after graduating from college in 2008. In one way or another, real estate has always been a part of Kati’s life, with her father and grandfather both being in the business. Kati has been with Title Group of TN since May 2011. Outside of work, Kati enjoys spending time family and friends, working out, traveling, and reading.
Paula B. Howell
Paula serves as our Closing Specialist/Marketing Coordinator. She will be the one who will be scheduling your closings, providing customer service, and closing your customer(s). She was born and raised here in East Tennessee. She graduated from Bearden High School and attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Paula ran track for UT and played competitive softball. Paula is a single mom. She has a daughter, Chelsea, and son-in-law, Sam. She is a GiGi to her first and only grandchild, Sylvia. She also has two sons, Corey and Shaquille. Shaquille was adopted 5 years ago from Jamaica and is a senior at Farragut High School. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family (the more the merrier!), going to the beach, and cheering on Big Orange sports, especially men's basketball.
